Recently purchased tickets to see the Lion King on Broadway at the Capitol theatre Sydney on July 18th, so hyped, but still need to sort out airfares, accommodation and the like.

The trip will drain quite a bit of my life savings, but I’ve been meaning to see the show since I heard about it in 2006 when it last came to Australia but since I had already been to Singapore in that year (and would love to visit again) I felt guilty asking again to go to Melbourne where it was playing at the time. So I’ve been meaning to go for quite a while so I thought ‘Why not now?’ and got ‘itchy feet’ It’s disappointing it has never come to Perth, as we often miss out on shows and events that the eastern states have to offer, but I would be so happy if another musical, Wicked, would come to Perth again, that was amazing.

But I’m looking forward to exploring a new city! I’ve travelled nearly all around my own state but never over east, and I’ve been looking up Sydney on the site Trip Advisor studying like crazy.

Recently finished my term at Uni too, loving the 3D side of things, one of our assignments was to model an action figure of our choosing, my Nan’s old Buzz Lightyear was my choice, and I got marked a 30 /40. Also we had an in class-modeling test where we modeled from a photo of an old gas lamp. Still waiting on those results as well as others.

For drawing I’m currently really focused on completing a chapter of Dragon Legacy to get to the main storyline, it’s embarrassing really how slow I have been on completing pages, as I’m usually prone to writing out pages than drawing them. I hope to also not completely abandon Diplo, as I also have a few scenarios of future drawings planned in my head. I have so many detailed backstories with my original characters I try to give them time each!
